WASHINGTON - Knelson has begun work to install a CRS in a brand new ready-mix batch plant in Rainier, WA. Owned by Miles Sand & Gravel, this plant will feature an automated drive-through washout station and truck wash that allows the truck driver to remain inside the vehicle during washout.
"The truck launder concept is designed from the perspective of the guys using it day-in and day-out," said Knelson CRS product manager, Dave Beckham. "The objective is to keep it simple and efficient."
Miles Sand & Gravel is a family owned ready-mix concrete producer in the Pacific Northwest. Incorporating the CRS into their plant operation is part of their ongoing strategy to keep ahead of the market by exceeding both regulatory requirements and operating efficiency.
The plant is expected to be fully operational by Fall 2002.
