Standard CRS System Components

Free-flowing transfer point
  • Either a discharge flume
  • Basin trough
  • Drive-over grated hopper
Aggregate Classifier Specially designed rising current classifier separates coarse aggregate and sands to #200 mesh. More on the Knelson Concrete Classifier.
Recovery tank Serves as a collection and irrigation reservoir to feed the classifier and washout station with chemically treated wash water. 8,000 US gallon capacity.
Storage tank Stores slurry to be used as mixing water. 14,000 US gallon capacityNot included with ZD-515.
Batch tank Located at the batch plant for fast delivery of slurry to the fresh batching process. 454 or 780-gallon capacity. More on the batch tank.
Chemical addition system Standard chemical admixture and delivery system provided by admix supplier to stabilize hydration.
PC Control CRS remote operator control panel installed at the batch plant for system monitoring and usage by batcher.
Process equipment Agitators, pumps, valves and piping.
Measurement devices For density, temperature, flow and volume of slurry.
